Rural Economic Forum 2025 Unites Leaders to Drive Rural Economic Growth

The Rural Economic Forum 2025- An initiative of India Chamber in support from ministry of MSME, GOI convenes on 12th March at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, gathering top Political leaders, industry leaders, policymakers, and rural entrepreneurs, startup’s and investors to explore challenges and opportunities in rural economic economy.
Dr. Giriraj Singh Ji, Union Minister for Textiles, inaugurated the summit, endorsing India Chamber’s efforts to strengthen the rural economy and emphasizing rural India’s role in shaping the nation’s future.
Sh. Partaprao Jadhav, Union State Minister of Ayush (Independent Charge), launched Project ONE FUTURE—an India Chamber initiative supported by the Ministry of MSME. This project aims to rehabilitate destitute cows, establish a global supply chain for nutritional security, and foster a circular economy to double farmers’ incomes. He pledged full ministerial support for its implementation.
Dr. Sahajand Prashad, Past President of IMA and India Chamber Board Member, reaffirmed his commitment to the project and announced plans for nationwide implementation.
Nitin Pangotra, President and CEO of India Chamber, highlighted the significance of the forum and Project ONE FUTURE’s potential to drive the “Dark Brown Revolution.” He emphasized its role in transforming rural economies, positioning India as a global leader in rural entrepreneurship and innovation.The future belongs to those who innovate, and rural India is ripe for entrepreneurial transformation. Through the Rural Economic Forum, we are ensuring that young rural entrepreneurs have access to capital, markets, and mentorship.
By scaling up rural startups, fostering skill development, and promoting digital literacy, we will position India as the global hub for rural innovation. The time has come for India’s villages to not only be the food bowl of the world but also the innovation centers that drive global sustainability and economic progress.
Several top rural-sector startups showcased cutting-edge technologies aimed at driving sustainable development.
The forum features keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive workshops covering sustainable agriculture, rural infrastructure, digital transformation, workforce innovation, and economic diversification. Networking opportunities allow attendees to engage with experts, explore economic trends, and foster strategic partnerships.
